"Mera Naam Mary Hai" is a Hindi-language dance song, characterized as an item number, for the 2015 film Brothers, sung by Chinmayi Sripada, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Ajay-Atul, who reused it from their 2006 song "Ye Go Ye Ye Maina" by Ajay Gogavale, originally composed for the soundtrack of Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad, whose other hit "Kombdi Palali" was recreated by them as "Chikni Chameli" for the soundtrack of the 2012 film Agneepath, widely considered their breakthrough album.[1] An official music video for the song features Kareena Kapoor Khan with Siddharth Malhotra, while the extended cut version features the film's other pivotal leads, Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Ashutosh Rana.

Over its release, the song earned praise for Kapoor's performance while its composition and lyrics were briefly criticized.
The song serves as a cover version of Ajay-Atul's other song "Ye Maina" from the 2006 film Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad, whose more popular song "Kombdi Palali" had previously been covered in the Hindi version as "Chikni Chameli", featured on the soundtrack of the duo's breakthrough film Agneepath, released in 2012.
Within the film, it is an exact precursor to the intermission.
The official music video for the song features Kareena Kapoor Khan in a special song appearance as part of a celebration at a bar for Sidharth Malhotra's character, Monty Fernandes, apparently making it big to an unstated event. Kapoor plays the titular "Mary", trying to flirt with Monty and get his attention.
An extended cut video, released after the film, explains that the celebration is for Monty's admission to the debuting MMA championship "Right 2 Fight"; in the events immediately preceding the song's vocal parts, it is revealed that Monty's foster brother David, played by Akshay Kumar, is ready to rough it up to the ring. His litmus-test fight with a protege of his friend and former street fighter Suleiman Pasha, played by Ashutosh Rana, plays throughout the song's background. The song eventually ends with Monty leaving the bar and David defeating Pasha's protege, with the screen partitioning the duo as the song ends, indicating an intermission point for the film.
The Indian Express praised Kapoor's performance, calling her a "silver queen goddess",[2] while Koimoi stated that Kareena lacked lustre in the item number, a remake of a Marathi song, and found similarities to the song Lovely from Happy New Year.[3] India West labelled Kareena as "elegant".[4] Firstpost praised Kappor's performance, comparing it to that of Priyanka Chopra in Pinky Hai Paisewaloon Ki but criticized the song as "bad".[5] NDTV praised Kapoor's moves and expressions.[6]
