Il disco

Il disco è stato registrato nel marzo 1967 e pubblicato nel settembre seguente. La produzione è di Bert Berns.

Il primo singolo Brown Eyed Girl rappresenta il primo brano di successo di Van Morrison (#10 il 30 settembre 1967 della classifica Billboard The Hot 100[10]). Contiene il bellissimo brano " TB Sheets ", un racconto struggente e drammatico.

L'album raggiunse la centottantaduesima posizione della classifica statunitense Billboard 200 il 21 ottobre 1967[11].
