Tales of Ithiria ist das vierte Studioalbum der Münchener Klassik-Mittelalter-Metal-Band Haggard. Es erschien nach mehreren Verschiebungen des Veröffentlichungstermins am 29. August 2008, über vier Jahre nach dem letzten Album.

Tales of Ithiria is the fourth studio album by the German symphonic metal band Haggard. Previously known under its work title A Dark Winter's Tale,[1] this album breaks the band's habit of writing about historical characters and events. Instead, it tells a fictional, medieval-themed story written by Haggard's songwriter Asis Nasseri. The album includes a cover version of the song "Hijo de la Luna" (Child of the Moon), originally written by José María Cano and performed by his own band, Spanish Pop group Mecano. However, his authorship of the song is not acknowledged in the CD's booklet, instead being referred to as "Traditional" music and lyrics.[2]

Tales of Ithiria es el cuarto álbum de estudio de la banda de metal medieval-sinfónico Haggard. Inicialmente, se tenía pensado llamar al álbum A Dark Winter's Tale, pero se optó por titularlo como es conocido. Con este álbum, Haggard deja la costumbre de grabar discos acerca de personajes históricos y comienza a centrarse en relatos fantásticos y un mundo imaginario lleno de guerras, batallas y con un ambiente medieval. Incluye el cover de la canción «Hijo de la luna», del grupo español Mecano, tomado del álbum Entre el cielo y el suelo, aunque en los créditos del librillo no se reconoce la autoría de José María Cano, sino que dice que es una canción tradicional, lo cual es información incorrecta.
