L'iter giudiziario italiano - che ha contrapposto il batterista Bruno Bergonzi e il musicista e cantante Michele Vicino a Prince, la cui canzone The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, è stata ritenuta identica, almeno in parte, nella parte musicale, a Takin' Me to Paradise, scritta da Bergonzi e da Vicino e pubblicata nel 1983 - si è concluso con condanna definitiva di Prince per plagio, con sentenza della Corte di Cassazione, a maggio 2015.[3]

The Most Beautiful Girl in the World (englisch für Das schönste Mädchen auf der Welt) ist ein 1994 veröffentlichter Song des US-amerikanischen Musikers Prince, den er geschrieben, komponiert, arrangiert und produziert hat. Das Stück brachte er am 9. Februar 1994 bei seinem damals neu gegründeten Musiklabel NPG Records als Single heraus. Im Mai desselben Jahr erschien der Song auch auf der EP The Beautiful Experience und im September 1995 auf seinem 17. Studioalbum The Gold Experience.

"The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" is a song by American musician Prince, released in various forms on the 1994 remixes EP The Beautiful Experience and later on his seventeenth album, The Gold Experience (1995). In his singles chronology, it was his third major release since changing his stage name to an unpronounceable "Love Symbol" (also known as The Artist Formerly Known As Prince). In his albums chronology, it along with the EP was his second release after changing his name. With the consent of Prince's usual record distributor Warner Bros. Records, the song was released by NPG Records in North America and Edel Music in the rest of the world and independently distributed by Bellmark Records in the USA, under the control and guidance of Music of Life, as a one-off single, topping five different charts. It also remains Prince's only number one single on the UK Singles Chart,[1] and was shortly followed by the release of The Beautiful Experience that also charted on No. 18 in the UK. The version that was released on The Gold Experience is a different mix of the song.
