Biografía

Cheung, nacido el 10 de julio de 1961, es conocido por su voz de barítono de amplio rango, y una gran capacidad de representación. Se le considera uno de los mejores cantantes preocedentes de Hong Kong. Algunas veces se le apoda el “dios del canto” (歌神), título que alguna vez tuvo otro artista del “cantopop”, Sam Hui.

Jacky Cheung Hok-yau (born 10 July 1961) is a Hong Kong singer, songwriter and actor. Dubbed the "God of Songs", he is considered by the media as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Hong Kong pop music.[3] Cheung is known for his technically skilled vocals, lengthy tours, multimillion-selling album The Goodbye Kiss and his personal Private Corner album project, for which he coined the phrase 'Canto-jazz’.[4][5] His successful music and acting career has made Cheung one of Hong Kong's icons. He was elected by Time Magazine as one of the "25 most influential people in the New Hong Kong".[6][7]
