Biografia

Nel 2014 Billie Marten ha pubblicato il suo primo EP Ribbon e si è esibita al BBC Introducing Stage al Festival di Reading e Leeds .[1][2] L'anno seguente ha firmato un contratto con la Chess Club Records, ha aperto concerti per Lucy Rose ed è stata selezionata per la lista Sound of..., stilata dalla BBC.[3][4][5] Il suo primo album, intitolato Writing of Blues and Yellows, è uscito nel 2016 ed ha esordito alla 53ª posizione della Official Albums Chart.[6] È stato seguito da Feeding Seahorses by Hand tre anni più tardi.[7]

Isabella Sophie Tweddle (born 27 May 1999), who performs under the stage name Billie Marten, is a British singer-songwriter and musician from Ripon in North Yorkshire. She first came to prominence at the age of twelve when a video on YouTube of her singing attracted thousands of views. [citation needed] She released her first EP at the age of fifteen in 2014, and her second EP a year later. At the end of 2015 she was nominated for the Sound of 2016 award.
