A solo album Vendetta for Position Music was released in 2011, the songs of which have been used for the advertising campaigns of many major movies and television shows. He also made another solo album for Position Music called Elysium, it was released in 2012.
On 30 March 2021 it was announced via Blankenburg's official website, that the track Fearmonger from his 2020 album Vanguard was chosen for the Netflix series Shadow & Bone soundtrack.[2]
