Carrera

En 1991, Warren G formó el grupo 213 junto con Snoop Dogg y Nate Dogg. Warren presentó el grupo a su hermanastro y este se quedó impresionado con Snoop y Nate Dogg, y rápidamente los firmó para su discográfica y la de Suge Knight, Death Row Records. Aun así, 213 se deshizo antes de realizar cualquier grabación y los tres artistas tuvieron que dar comienzo a sus carreras en solitario. Aunque Death Row no firmara a Warren G, su carrera empezó con algunas colaboraciones en el álbum de Dr. Dre The Chronic, en 1992.

Warren Griffin III (born November 10, 1970) is an American rapper and producer known for his role in West Coast rap's 1990s ascent.[1] Along with Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg, he formed the hip-hop trio 213, named for Long Beach's area code. A pioneer of G-funk, he attained mainstream success with the 1994 single "Regulate", a duet with Nate Dogg. The younger stepbrother of rapper Dr. Dre, he introduced him to Snoop Dogg, who was later signed by him.[clarification needed]
