Diese CD kam im März 1994 heraus. Der Song Amor Prohibido handelt von einer „verbotenen“ Liebe, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom ist ein Popsong, Cobarde und El Chico Del Apartamento 512 sind volkstümliche Lieder und Fotos y Recuerdos ist eine ironische Geschichte darüber, dass einem nur Fotos und Erinnerungen bleiben. No Me Queda Mas handelt davon, dass jemand dem Ende entgegensieht und trotzdem seine Würde und Selbstachtung behält.

Amor Prohibido (English: Forbidden Love)[1] is the fourth studio album by American singer Selena,[Note 1] released on March 13, 1994, by EMI Latin. Having reached a core fan base, the label aimed to broaden her appeal with the next studio release. Finding it challenging to write a follow-up hit after "Como la Flor" (1992), Selena's brother A. B. Quintanilla enlisted the assistance from band members Ricky Vela and Pete Astudillo with writing the album's songs. The resulting album has a more mature sound featuring experimental production that blends diverse musical styles from ranchera to hip-hop music. Amor Prohibido is a Tejano cumbia album modernized with a synthesizer-rich delivery using a minimalist style that was quintessential in early 1990s Tejano music.

Amor prohibido es el cuarto álbum de estudio de la cantante estadounidense Selena, publicado el 13 de marzo de 1994 por la compañía discográfica EMI Latin. Después de haber conseguido una base sólida de fanáticos con su anterior trabajo, la compañía pretendía ampliar su atractivo con su próximo lanzamiento. Al tener dificultades para igualar el éxito de «Como la flor», A.B. Quintanilla recurrió al apoyo de Ricky Vela y Pete Astudillo para componer las canciones del nuevo material.
