Kamaiyah stated that she "wanted to make a soundtrack for the average 18-25 year old thriving, living and having a good time".[8] She said, "I feel like a lot of music nowadays is hella dark, and I didn't want to make a project that was dark."[9]
Music videos were created for "Out the Bottle",[10] "How Does It Feel",[11] "For My Dawg",[12] "F*ck It Up",[13] "Mo Money Mo Problems",[14] "I'm On",[15] and "Freaky Freaks".[16]
Complex placed it at number 21 on the "50 Best Albums of 2016" list.[17] Pitchfork placed it at number 47 on the "50 Best Albums of 2016" list.[18] Rolling Stone placed it at number 17 on the "40 Best Rap Albums of 2016" list.[19] The Guardian named it one of the 15 best mixtapes of 2016.[20]
