"Dark Diamond" is a song by Elton John with lyrics by Bernie Taupin.[1] It is the second track on his 26th studio album Songs from the West Coast. Musically, the song is a mixture of Blues, Pop and R&B. Released in 2001, it still gets airplay in Scandinavia and Continental Europe. It includes Stevie Wonder playing the harmonica, a reunion of John and Wonder since "That's What Friends Are For".
