Songs on the album are a compilation of the group's singles from the previous three years ("Paris Maquis", "Hystérie connective" and "Panik") and John Peel BBC Radio 1 session recordings.
Re-releases
Hommes morts was re-released on CD on 1 October 2005 in France as a limited & signed 25th anniversary vinyl replica CD edition, with two bonus tracks on Seventeen Records, Métal Urbain right owners. A re-release in Japan from Polystar under licence from Seventeen Records on December 2003 took the form of a double CD with more additional tracks.
