Moderna Žena (English: Modern Woman) is the third studio album by Croatian pop singer Jelena Rozga. It was released on 16 December 2016 through Croatia Records. Moderna Žena is a two-disc album; the first disc contains newer songs recorded for the album, while the second contains songs that Rozga released from 2011 to 2014, some of which also found their way on her first compilation 2011 album Best of Jelena Rozga.

As with previous releases by the singer, Tonči Huljić served as the main producer while she also collaborated with many people on the album, such as Vjekoslava Huljić, Boris Đurđević, Dušan Bačić, Remi Kazinoti, Pero Kozomara and others. Work on the album began in 2011. Moderna Žena incorporates numerous musical influences, ranging from traditional Dalmatian and Balkan folk music to electropop, modern pop and hip hop. Lyrically, most songs discuss love from the perspective of a female protagonist.
Moderna Žena was a big commercial success, peaking at number one on the Croatian Albums Chart where it spent 17 weeks in total. It received a gold certification by the Croatian Phonographic Association, three months after its release, becoming the singer's third solo studio album to have such an achievement. Critically, the album was also well received by the public and music critics. In promotion of the album, Rozga gave numerous performances in local venues in countries from the post-Yugoslav region. Additionally, 21 singles were released from the album, some of which became the singer's biggest hits in her career. The album and its songs received numerous awards and accolades at the Split Festival and Porin.
Moderna Žena was released on 16 December 2016 through Croatia Records.[1]
Tonči Huljić served as the main producer for all songs of the album.[2]
In the first week of its release, Moderna žena debuted atop the Croatian Albums Chart. It remained at the top of the chart for 11 consecutive weeks; afterwards, it moved down several positions, remaining on top 17 weeks in total after its release.[3][4] Only 3 months after its release, the album received a gold certification and sold over 5,000 copies.[3] The album became the best-selling record of the year in Croatia in 2017.[5]
It was nominated for the Best Pop Album at the 2017 Porin Awards held on 17 March 2017.[3] Additionally, Rozga has achieved two other nominations at the 2014 Porin Awards, in the categories Hit of the Year for the songs "Dalmatinka" and "Nirvana".[6][7]
