  4. The song was originally recorded by Ray Vernon on Cameo single 109 as the B side of "Evil Angel" in 1957. It was quickly replaced with "I'll take tomorrow today". Since the song was written by Kal Mann & Bernie Lowe this was probably done so as not to take sales away from Pat Boone who was a guerenteed hit maker at the time.
