ExtendedancEPlay, también conocido como Extended Dance o Twisting by the Pool EP en referencia al primer tema, es un EP de la banda británica Dire Straits publicado tras su cuarto álbum de estudio, Love Over Gold. En un intento por volver a la sencillez y al sonido de sus primeros trabajos, el álbum recoge tres canciones con un estilo más desenfadado que su antecesor. La sustitución del batería Pick Whiters por Terry Williams supuso un apoyo a la hora de modificar el estilo de los temas debido a su anterior presencia en el grupo de música bailable Rockpile.

Extendedance Play (stylized as ExtendedancEPlay) is a studio 12" EP by British rock band Dire Straits, released on 14 January 1983[2] by Vertigo Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States.[3] The record contains three tracks on the international version and four on the U.S. version, which also included the song "Badges, Posters, Stickers, T-Shirts," an outtake from the Love over Gold sessions. The cassette release of the EP is called Twisting by the Pool, after the hit song of the same name on its first track.[4]
