Sus dos primeros sencillos, "Ligthning" y "Scared of Heights" serán lanzados el 9 y el 23 de marzo de 2012 respectivamente, el primero solo en Noruega. La fecha de lanzamiento aún está por concretar y el cantante iniciará una gira por Europa y América del Sur en abril de 2012.

En su tercer trabajo en inglés, Morten Harket se aleja del estilo solista de sus otros trabajos –pop más orientados a la canción de autor– y apuesta por un estilo continuista de a-ha en su último trabajo, Foot of the Mountain, esto es, pop electrónico.

Temas

Al igual que Letter from Egypt, el álbum presenta una versión de otro artista noruego. En esta ocasión el tema "Scared of Heights" de Espen Lind se encarga de abrir el disco.

Out of My Hands is the fifth studio album and third English-language album by Norwegian pop singer Morten Harket. It was released on April 13, 2012 through Island Records.[1] The album was mainly produced by British record producer Steve Osborne, who worked with a-ha on their ninth studio album, Foot of the Mountain (2009). Upon its release, the album received generally mixed reviews from Norwegian music critics. The album charted at number one in Norway, becoming the singer's third number-one album there.
