El álbum fue lanzado gratuitamente en el sitio oficial de la agrupación como agradecimiento a los fanes por asistir a sus conciertos. Además, se organizó la entrega de copias en CD del álbum durante los restantes conciertos de su gira Viva la Vida Tour.

12 años después de su publicación, el 13 de agosto de 2021 el álbum fue oficialmente lanzado para las plataformas de streaming.

LeftRightLeftRightLeft is the second live album by British alternative rock band Coldplay. It was released on 15 May 2009 and given away for free at all of the remaining concerts on the Viva la Vida Tour,[2] being also available as a free download on the band's official website. However, the album was removed before the release of Live 2012.[3][4] On 13 August 2021, nearly twelve years after its first release, the album was made available on streaming services.[5]
