Chemical Invasion est le deuxième album studio du groupe de thrash metal allemand Tankard. L'album est sorti en octobre 1987 sous le label Noise Records.

En 2005, Chemical Invasion est ressorti en version double disque avec le premier album studio de Tankard, Zombie Attack, sorti en 1986.

Certaines paroles de l'album font référence au Reinheitsgebot de 1516 sur la bière en Allemagne.

Le dernier titre de l'album, Alcohol, est une reprise du groupe de Punk hardcore américain Gang Green.

Tankard is a German thrash metal band from Frankfurt, founded in 1982.[1] Alongside Kreator, Destruction and Sodom, Tankard is often considered one of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal. Stylistically, Tankard have consistently played thrash metal that thematically centres primarily on alcohol reverence, unlike the remaining "Big Teutonic Four" (Kreator, Destruction and Sodom), who are all known for covering such topics related to death, politics, violence and anti-fascism.

Chemical Invasion (рус. Химическое вторжение) — второй альбом германской группы Tankard, выпущенный в 1987 году. Название альбома музыканты не связывали с химической угрозой и катаклизмами. Участники группы как представители «алкоголик-метал» выражали в нём свой протест, связанный с отменой Райнхайнтсгебот (нем. Reinheitsgebot — требование к чистоте) — закона, регламентирующего производство пива в Германии, и были против ввоза в Германию пива с различными химическими добавками.
