Era Vulgaris est le cinquième album du groupe de stoner rock Queens of the Stone Age sorti en 2007.

L'album est sorti le 12 juin 2007 et comprend onze titres. On notera la participation au chant de Mark Lanegan, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) (mais la chanson éponyme Era Vulgaris sur laquelle il participe n'apparaîtra pas sur l'album) et Julian Casablancas (The Strokes). Pour accompagner sa sortie, le groupe fait une tournée européenne passant par les Eurockéennes de Belfort, le Furia Festival, le Rock Werchter et le Greenfield Festival.

Recorded from July 2006 to April 2007,[3] it was released on June 11, 2007 in the United Kingdom and June 12 in the United States, having been released on June 8 in other countries.[4] The single "Sick, Sick, Sick" was released in May, followed by second single "3's & 7's" in early June,[5] and third single "Make It wit Chu" in October. The album debuted at No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts, selling 52,000 copies in its first week.[6][7] It reached top ten positions in other countries, such as No. 7 in the UK, No. 5 in Canada, and No. 4 in Australia.[8] It was the band's last album with Interscope Records.

Era Vulgaris es el quinto álbum de estudio de Queens of the Stone Age. Lanzado el 12 de junio de 2007 por Interscope Records y Rekords Rekords, sello discográfico de Josh Homme. El disco fue grabado en varios estudios y tardó casi un año en completarse. Pasaron por los estudios californianos de Hollywood, Los Ángeles y Van Nuys. Y es que, Homme reconoce que "las canciones de Songs for the Deaf estaban inspiradas en el paisaje que te rodea al conducir por el desierto de California del Sur.
