In a Perfect World… est le premier album solo de Keri Hilson, sorti le 24 mars 2009. L'album possède des sons très variés se rapprochant du style hip-hop classique, mais également du R'n'B.

Dès 2005, elle enregistre des titres tels que Henny & Apple Juice en featuring avec Snoop Dogg et Stat Quo puis Good Things en collaboration avec Rich Boy et Polow Da Don, Hands and Feet, High Heels ou encore Come Clean et Headsprung en duo avec Justin Timberlake.

À la production de cet album, on retrouve Timbaland, gérant du label sur lequel est signée Keri Hilson, ainsi que le producteur Danja.

Originally planned for a 2007 release, it was pushed back numerous times into 2008, amid her label's budget issues and minor single releases. The production on the album was handled primarily by Timbaland, Polow da Don and Danja, among others.

El álbum originalmente iba a ser lanzado a mediados de 2007 pero, debido al corto lapso de tiempo que tenían, decidieron cambiar la fecha de lanzamiento, y finalmente el álbum fue lanzado oficialmente el 24 de marzo de 2009. El álbum debutó 4 en Billboard 200 vendiendo la cantidad de 94 000 copias la primera semana y en 22 de octubre fue certificado oro en Estados Unidos por vender más de 500 000 copias y mundialmente ha vendido 1,5 de copias.
