Killer Love est le premier album studio de la chanteuse américaine Nicole Scherzinger, ancienne membre du groupe des Pussycat Dolls. Il est sorti le 18 mars 2011 chez Interscope Records.

La sortie de l'album fut précédée par celle d'un premier single : Poison. Celui-ci arriva respectivement jusqu'à la troisième et septième place des charts britanniques et irlandais. Il fut suivi par un second single, mis sur le marché quelques jours avant la sortie de l'album, Don't Hold Your Breath, qui réussit à se placer à la première place des charts britanniques et polonais. L'album sera réédité avec le titre Right There (featuring 50 Cent) et 3 titres inédits dont le nouveau single Try With Me.

Mit den Arbeiten an dem Album hat Nicole Scherzinger bereits 2005 angefangen. Damals wollte sie das Album mit dem Namen Her Name Is Nicole herausbringen. Aber wegen zeitlicher Unstimmigkeiten in Bezug auf die Pussycat-Dolls-Tour hat sie die Arbeiten an ihrem Debütalbum verschoben. Am Album mitgewirkt haben Produzenten wie RedOne (Poker Face, Lady Gaga) oder auch Stargate (Broken-Hearted Girl, Beyoncé, Closer, Ne-Yo oder auch Rude Boy, Rihanna).

Killer Love is the debut solo studio album by American singer Nicole Scherzinger. It was released on March 18, 2011, by Interscope Records, in association with its affiliated record labels. Scherzinger had been working on a solo album since 2005, under the title Her Name Is Nicole and was originally due for release in 2007. However, unsuccessful singles and poor timing led the project being pushed back numerous times. After releasing The Pussycat Dolls' second studio album Doll Domination (2008), Scherzinger shelved the project entirely citing bad timing and creative issues as the reasons for its cancellation. Many of its songs were reassigned to the Dolls or other artists. In 2010, Moroccan producer RedOne was brought on board for a second attempt at launching her solo album.

Killer Love è l'album di debutto della cantante statunitense Nicole Scherzinger, pubblicato il 18 marzo 2011 dall'etichetta discografica Interscope Records. L'album, registrato in sette anni dal 2005 al 2011,[1] include solo quattordici delle oltre cento tracce registrate originariamente per il suo primo disco, Her Name Is Nicole, la cui pubblicazione, mai avvenuta, era prevista per il 2007,[2] e poi per un secondo album nel maggio 2010. Nel corso del 2007 furono pubblicati tuttavia quattro singoli che hanno avuto poco successo e che hanno spinto la cancellazione del progetto. Nel 2010, a seguito della pubblicazione del secondo album delle Pussycat Dolls, Doll Domination, RedOne decide di produrre materiale per il suo album di debutto.[3] Completato e pubblicato nel 2011 l'album è composto da canzoni eurodance up-tempo e ballate mid-tempo e down-tempo. Le canzoni contengono elementi di musica rock, soul e funk, che la cantante ha appositamente scelto poiché sono quelle che le riuscivano meglio cantante dal vivo. Tra i quattordici brani che compongono l'album vi sono due collaborazioni: una con Enrique Iglesias e una con Sting. Fino ad oggi, Killer Love, è stato pubblicato solo in alcuni paesi, principalmente: Irlanda, Regno Unito, Francia e Germania. Una versione alternativa dell'album sarà pubblicato negli Stati Uniti con Snoop Dogg e 50 Cent. Commercialmente, Killer Love, ha avuto un grande successo nel Regno Unito e Irlanda, rispettivamente, piazzandosi al numero otto e il numero quattordici.
