Il disco segna il ritorno nella band di Dave Baksh, uscito dalla formazione nel 2006, ed è il primo con il batterista Frank Zummo e il chitarrista Tom Thacker, ufficialmente nei Sum 41 dal 2011, anno in cui era stato pubblicato il precedente album di inediti, Screaming Bloody Murder.

L'album, distribuito in Europa da Rude Records, è stato certificato doppio disco d'oro dalla Independent Music Companies Association.[2]

13 Voices ist das sechste Studioalbum der kanadischen Rockband Sum 41. Es ist das erste Album unter ihrem neuen Plattenlabel Hopeless Records und wurde weltweit am 7. Oktober 2016 veröffentlicht. Zudem ist es das erste Album nach der Veröffentlichung von Screaming Bloody Murder im Jahr 2011. Erstmals stammen die Schlagzeug-Aufnahmen dabei nicht mehr von Gründungsmitglied Steve Jocz, der im April 2013 die Band verließ.[1] Musikalisch folgt das Album seinem Vorgänger Screaming Bloody Murder und wird durch Einflüsse aus Alternative Rock, Punk und Metal geprägt.

13 Voices is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on October 7, 2016. It is the first Sum 41 album to be released through independent label Hopeless Records after the band fulfilled their contract with major label Island Records. It is also Sum 41's first album to feature drummer Frank Zummo, who replaced original drummer Steve Jocz and their first album since the return of guitarist Dave Baksh (who left the band in 2006) in 2015, as well as their first as a five-piece, as Tom Thacker, who replaced Baksh in 2009, remained with the band. On May 11, 2016, the band announced that they had signed to Hopeless Records to release the crowd-funded project.[1]

13 Voices (рус. 13 голосов) — шестой студийный альбом канадской панк-рок группы Sum 41. Выход альбома состоялся 7 октября 2016 года. Это первый со времён Chuck (2004) альбом, записанный при участии гитариста Дэйва Бэкша, а также первый альбом с Фрэнком Зуммо, заменившим в 2015 году Стива Джоза. Кроме этого, это первый альбом Sum 41, записанный составом из 5 человек с Томом Такером и Дэйвом Бэкшем на соло-гитарах.
