Il brano è accompagnato da un video musicale, pubblicato il 3 settembre 2010 su Disney Channel dopo la presentazione del film Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, assieme alla nuova canzone di Hannah Montana intitolata Que será. All'inizio, Selena Gomez e la sua band si trovano in un deserto, che stanno attraversando in automobile. "A Year Without Rain" is a song by American band Selena Gomez & the Scene. It was written by Lindy Robbins and Toby Gad, with the latter also producing the song. The song was released on September 7, 2010 as the second and final single from the band's second album of the same name. A Spanish-language version of the song was also recorded, entitled "Un año sin lluvia" [un ˈaɲo siɲ ˈʎuβja]. Gomez titled the album for the song because she wanted to base all the other songs around it. Musically, the song is a Eurodance track backed with a disco beat.
