Il disco


All Distortions Are Intentional è stato concepito come un concept album[5][8][9]. Il disco racconta la storia di una persona solitaria, chiamata Jett, e l'amore della sua vita Alice, che vive in un posto soprannominato Sonderland. Sonderland è una combinazione di "Wonderland" ("Paese delle Meraviglie") e la parola "sonder" – che significherebbe il rendersi conto dell'esistenza di persone a caso che vivono una vita complessa come la tua con le proprie ambizioni. Il cantante Ben Barlow spiega che «è quella strana percezione esistenziale di non essere l'intero mondo. Tutti attorno a te sentono e vivono allo stesso tuo modo. Tu sei solo un di più nella loro storia»[10].

All Distortions Are Intentional is the fourth studio album by Welsh rock band Neck Deep, released on 24 July 2020 by Hopeless Records. It was produced by Matt Squire and mixed by Seb Barlow. This is the first album to not feature Fil Thorpe-Evans who left in the Fall of 2018, and is the last to feature longtime drummer Dani Washington before his departure in 2022. The band's photographer Joshua Halling recorded bass on all tracks on this album. However, he decided not to join the band full-time in where he returned to being the band's photographer.
