Si tratta della seconda ed ultima parte di un doppio concept album iniziato con Automata I, uscito quattro mesi prima. Riguardo ai quattro brani in esso contenuti, il cantante e tastierista Tommy Giles Rogers, Jr. ha spiegato:[2]

«Tenere la bocca chiusa su Automata II è stato impegnativo. Abbiamo lavorato così duramente su questi brani e finalmente abbiamo potuto pubblicare l'altra metà di questo materiale al mondo! Penso che questo sia il miglior materiale che abbiamo mai realizzato. È il risultato di tutto ciò che abbiamo cercato fino a questo punto. Ci sono molti colpi di scena e momenti bizzarri, ma c'è anche molta bellezza nella musica e nella storia. Automata è ora completo e il nostro antagonista ha trovato la sua versione di casa e pace.» |
