È stato pubblicato negli Stati Uniti il 19 dicembre 2006 ed è giunto in Italia verso inizio 2007.

Il primo singolo, prodotto dai The Runners, è Bet That, realizzato assieme al rapper emergente Chamillionaire e Gold Ru$h. Il secondo singolo è Tuck Ya Ice, e vede la collaborazione con l'ex componente dei Big Tymers Baby e la produzione di Kane Beatz. Entrambi i singoli non sono stati pubblicati in Italia.

Gli altri featuring più importanti dell'album sono quelli di Young Buck nel pezzo Straight Up, Webbie in Booty Do, Jaheim e Trina in Tonight, 8 Ball e Trey Songz in So High e The Notorious B.I.G. in Duck Down (una delle bonus track dell'album).

Tra le produzioni più importanti vi sono quelle di Kevin "Khao" Cates (il quale aveva già contribuito alle produzioni di pezzi di altri artisti quali T.I., Young Jeezy e Young Dro), Mannie Fresh (anche questo, come Baby, ex membro dei Big Tymers) e Big D.

L'album ha venduto negli USA oltre le 87 000 copie, poche se paragonate a quelle delle vendite degli album precedenti.

Back by Thug Demand is the seventh studio album by American rapper Trick Daddy. It was released on December 19, 2006 through Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic Records. Recording sessions took place at Dunk Ryders Studio, Circle House Studios, the Hit Factory Criteria-Miami, and Icon Studios in Miami, at PatchWerk Recording Studios and Zac Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by Gold Ru$h, The Runners, Kane Beatz, Bigg D, Gorilla Tek, Khao, and Mannie Fresh. It features guest appearances from Fiend, 8Ball, Birdman, Chamillionaire, Dray Skky, Dunk Ryders, Gold Ru$h, Jaheim, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Trina, Webbie, Young Buck and Young Steff.
