Dákiti ha esordito alla 9ª posizione della Billboard Hot 100 e direttamente alla vetta della Hot Latin Songs statunitense nella pubblicazione del 17 novembre 2020 grazie a 22,2 milioni di stream, segnando il numero più alto di riproduzioni in streaming per una canzone latina dell'anno, e 5 000 copie digitali. È inoltre divenuta la seconda canzone completamente in lingua spagnola a fare la propria entrata nella top ten della Hot 100 statunitense da Mía di Bad Bunny stesso.[8] In seguito alla messa in commercio del disco El último tour del mundo, il brano ha raggiunto la top five con 24,1 milioni di riproduzioni in streaming nella pubblicazione del 12 dicembre 2020.[9]

"Dakiti" (also titled "Dákiti") is a song by Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Puerto Rican singer Jhay Cortez. It was released on October 30, 2020 through Rimas Entertainment as the lead single from Bad Bunny's third studio album, El Último Tour Del Mundo.[1] The island-tinged song simultaneously debuted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Hot Latin Songs chart, becoming the first song in history to do so. It peaked at number five on the Hot 100, and simultaneously topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S., the first Spanish-language song to do so. It is the 79th most played song on Spotify with 1,470,908,772 streams and has more than 2.5 billion total views on YouTube and Spotify as of August 2022. The third collaboration between the artists reached number one in Argentina, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and the top 10 in France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and almost all of Latin America. The song also spent a total of 27 weeks at the top of the Hot Latin Songs chart; it could be easily be the signature song of both Cortez and Martinez.
