Double Trouble è un album di Elvis Presley contenente la colonna sonora del film da lui interpretato Fermi tutti, cominciamo daccapo!, pubblicato dalla RCA Victor Records in formato mono e stereo, n° di catalogo LPM/LSP 3787, nel giugno 1967. Le sedute di registrazione per l'album ebbero luogo negli studi Radio Recorders e MGM Studios di Hollywood, California, il 28, 29, e 30 giugno 1966. Il disco raggiunse la posizione numero 47 della classifica Billboard 200 negli Stati Uniti.

Generalmente Presley preferiva incidere in studi di registrazione veri e propri attrezzati con le tecnologie più avanzate, invece che in enormi e dispersivi studi cinematografici, ma i dirigenti della MGM, tenendo d'occhio il budget, insistettero affinché le sedute di registrazione venissero spostate dallo studio Radio Recorders agli studi della MGM dopo solo una giornata di lavoro.[1] Un frustrato Elvis accettò a malincuore, ma il colpo finale gli arrivò quando dovette prestarsi a cantare brani ridicoli come Old MacDonald.[2]

Dopo l'entusiasmo provato nel registrare il disco gospel How Great Thou Art solo il mese precedente, la pedestre routine della musica delle colonne sonore, rigettò Presley in uno stato di depressione causata dal fatto di dover incidere album discutibili per film di dubbia fattura.[3] Persino la data scelta per pubblicare Double Trouble si sarebbe rivelata infelice, lo stesso giorno infatti, veniva pubblicato in Inghilterra l'acclamato Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band dei Beatles.

Dall'album fu estratta la canzone Long Legged Girl (with the Short Dress On) che venne pubblicata come singolo a fine aprile, prima dell'uscita del film nelle sale. Il brano si piazzò alla posizione numero 63 della Billboard Hot 100.

Double Trouble is the fifteenth soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3787, in June 1967. It is the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name starring Presley.
