Il disco

Uscito in seguito all'abbandono di Ice Cube dal gruppo e prodotto da Dr. Dre, Efil4zaggin si dimostra un successo nel campo del west coast rap, salendo alla prima posizione della Billboard 200, ma nonostante questo, prima dell'estate del 1991 il gruppo si scoglie a causa di una grave lite fra Dr. Dre e Eazy-E.

Nell'album, dai toni cupi e spettrali, troviamo esempio nei brani Approach to Danger o i brani della Motherfuking Saga è completamente diverso dal precedente successo Straight outta Compton che scalò le classifiche dell'Hip Hop in tutto il mondo.^{[non chiaro]}

Nel 2003 l'album è stato ristampato in due formati: entrambi contengono anche l'EP 100 Miles and Runnin', ma solo una delle due versioni comprende anche un secondo disco DVD con performance live del gruppo.

Niggaz4Life (auch als EFIL4ZAGGIN bekannt) ist das zweite und letzte Studioalbum der US-amerikanischen West-Coast-Rapgruppe N.W.A. Die Gruppe trennte sich kurz nach Veröffentlichung des Albums, nachdem Dr. Dre und Songwriter The D.O.C. zu Death Row Records gingen. Auf dem Album sind Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren und DJ Yella vertreten, Arabian Prince verließ die Band bereits 1988, Ice Cube im selben Jahr ebenfalls. Obwohl die Gruppe hier nicht mehr in Originalbesetzung auftrat und mit Ice Cube ein für die Gruppe wichtiger Rapper die Band verließ, wurde das Album ein Erfolg und debütierte auf Platz zwei der US-amerikanischen Billboard 200 und kletterte dann in der zweiten Woche auf den ersten Platz.

Niggaz4Life (also known as Efil4zaggin as per album cover art, stylized in all caps and horizontally mirrored) is the second and final studio album by gangsta rap group N.W.A, released on May 28, 1991. It was their final album, as the group disbanded later the same year after the departure of Dr. Dre and songwriter The D.O.C. to form Death Row Records; the album features only four members of the original line-up, as Ice Cube and Arabian Prince had already left the group in 1989 and 1988 respectively. Niggaz4Life debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, but in its second week peaked at number 1.[2]
