Eye II Eye ist das vierzehnte Studio-Album der deutschen Hard-Rock-Band Scorpions und wurde im Frühjahr 1999 veröffentlicht. Aufgrund eines extremen Stilwandels und einer neuen, elektro-poppigeren Ausrichtung wurde dieses Album sowohl von Kritikern als auch von den Fans äußerst kritisch aufgenommen. Unter allen Alben der Band gilt dieses im Allgemeinen als das musikalisch schwächste. Es war außerdem das erste Studio-Album mit James Kottak am Schlagzeug, der sich bei dem bis heute einzigen deutschsprachigen Lied der Band „Du bist so schmutzig“ auch als Songwriter für die englischen Strophen beteiligte.

Eye II Eye is the fourteenth studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 1999. It is a radical departure in that Eye II Eye is much more pop-oriented than their previous work, which alienated some fans, despite the single "Mysterious" reaching number 26 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.[5] It is the first studio Scorpions album to feature James Kottak on drums and also the final Scorpions studio album to feature Ralph Rieckermann on bass guitar.
