Pubblicazione

Il singolo è stato inizialmente lanciato nelle emittenti radiofoniche a partire dal 23 ottobre.[4] Il 28 ottobre è stato invece annunciato dalla Warner Music Group che il 19 novembre sarebbe stato pubblicato un EP digitale contenente quattro remix del brano.[5]

Il 17 gennaio 2014 Free è stato pubblicato anche nel formato CD in Austria, Germania e Svizzera.[6]

Video musicale

Il videoclip, diretto da Stu Thomson e girato attorno al monte Eiger (situato nell'Oberland Bernese), è stato pubblicato il 24 ottobre 2013 ed è ispirata alla storia dell'atleta norvegese Jokke Sommer, pioniere del volo con la tuta alare.[7]

"Free" is a song by British drum and bass band Rudimental. It features the vocals from English-born Scottish singer and songwriter Emeli Sandé. The song was released in the United Kingdom on 18 November 2013 as the sixth single from their debut studio album, Home (2013). Another version of the single also features American rapper Nas; this version is featured in 2K Sports' WWE 2K15 video game.
