Gillan (noto anche come The Japanese Album) è l'album di debutto del gruppo musicale rock inglese Gillan, pubblicato il 5 ottobre 1978[4] solo in Giappone, e più tardi in Australia e Nuova Zelanda. Nonostante non fosse stato pubblicato nel Regno Unito, l'album vendette bene come prodotto d'importazione, aiutato dalle recensioni positive. Le note all'interno della pubblicazione originale attribuiscono batteria e percussioni a Liam Genockey, mentre l'edizione del 1993 Gillan - The Japanese Album le attribuisce a Pete Barnacle.

Gillan is the debut studio album by British hard rock band Gillan, released in September 1978 only in Japan then later in Australia and New Zealand. Although not released domestically in the UK, the album sold well as an import, aided by positive press reviews. The sleeve notes of the original release credit Liam Genocky as playing drums and percussion, while the 1993 release "Gillan – The Japanese Album" instead credits Pete Barnacle.
