Il 24 settembre 2013 Lorde ha eseguito la traccia dal vivo per la prima volta in assoluto al Fonda Theatre di Los Angeles, in California.[3] Il 3 ottobre dello stesso anno, la cantante ha tenuto un concerto presso il Warsaw Venue a Brooklyn, eseguendo la canzone insieme ad altre tracce presenti nell'album.[4]

Glory and Gore è stato incluso nella scaletta del concerto al Laneway Festival del 29 gennaio 2014. Tale esibizine è stata lodata Chris Schulz di New Zealand Herald che l'ha definita un «momento saliente».[5] Nello stesso anno, Lorde ha aperto gli spettacoli del Roseland Ballroom e del Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival con il brano,[6][7][8] che ha poi presentato anche al celebre Lollapalooza Festival di San Paolo, in Brasile e Buenos Aires, in Argentina.[9]

"Glory and Gore" is a song by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde from her debut studio album, Pure Heroine (2013). The song was released on 11 March 2014 as the album's fourth and final single by Lava Records and Republic Records. The track was written by Lorde and its producer, Joel Little. "Glory and Gore" is an electropop song influenced by chillwave and hip hop music. It speaks about modern society's fascination with violence and celebrity culture, comparing these to gladiators.
