NDA è l'acronimo di Non Disclosure Agreement ed stato musicalmente definito dalla critica specializzata come un brano elettropop,[1] hyperpop[2] e rock alternativo,[3] mentre il testo descrive tutti i lati negativi di quando si diventa superstar, come la quasi totale assenza di una vita privata e la mancanza di fiducia verso altri.[5] Nel ritornello la cantante fa uso di autotune per descrivere la tossicità di una sua relazione nel contesto della sua enorme fama.[2]

Il video musicale è stato diretto dall'artista stessa e girato in un unico piano sequenza in cui Eilish cammina in mezzo a una strada buia, quando a un tratto delle auto illuminano improvvisamente la scena e le corrono pericolosamente vicine.[6]

It is an alt-pop, dark-pop, electropop, industrial, and progressive pop track, which contains elements of trip hop, techno-pop, and trance, accompanied by diverse lyrical content. Lyrically, "NDA" speaks about Eilish's battles with fame and for privacy, as well as touching on her relationships. Additionally, the song transitions into the following album track, "Therefore I Am". Eilish wrote the song with its producer, her brother Finneas O'Connell.
