Il disco

L'album è il risultato della collaborazione di Andy Boulton con il gruppo tedesco The Dead Ballerinas, da cui provenivano gli altri membri del gruppo[2][3]. Composto attingendo da materiale composto dai The Dead Ballerinas e da Boulton negli anni precedenti[2] (Shadows of Insanity è ad esempio un rifacimento di un brano incluso nell'EP The Cave Sessions[2]), No Remorse a.k.a. The Eye of the Storm presenta delle sonorità completamente differenti da quelle degli esordi del gruppo[1], adottando uno stile molto vicino all'AOR[1] e al pop metal per via dell'ampio uso degli strumenti elettronici[1] (in particolare nella ballad Call Me Angel, in cui Michael Pozz canta accompagnato quasi esclusivamente dalle tastiere).

L'album è stato pubblicato solamente in Europa, inizialmente in formato CD e in seguito in vinile[4], tuttavia esiste una versione indirizzata al mercato statunitense intitolata No Remorse e pubblicata da una differente etichetta discografica[3][4].

No Remorse is the fifth studio album by the British heavy metal band Tokyo Blade, released in 1989 by the German GAMA Musikverlag sub-label Hot Blood Records.[3] The album was recorded as a collaboration between guitarist Andy Boulton and the German band and label-mates Dead Ballerinas, with songs coming from both parts. The album was poorly promoted and the band fell apart after its release.
