OVO, oltre a costituire il tredicesimo album della carriera solista del musicista inglese Peter Gabriel, è anche la colonna sonora dello spettacolo allestito all'interno del Millennium Dome di Londra nel 2000. L'album è stato pubblicato il 29 agosto 2000 e annovera le voci di cantanti come Neneh Cherry, Rasco, Richie Havens, Elizabeth Fraser e Paul Buchanan (dei Blue Nile). Sono state pubblicate due versioni diverse di quest'album, una cosiddetta "limitata" (per l'Europa) e una "regolare" (per l'America). L'edizione limitata contiene un fumetto con la storia di OVO, un bonus CD con tracce aggiuntive e video tratti dallo spettacolo londinese.

Si tratta di un concept album che descrive tre generazioni di una famiglia, rappresentanti, metaforicamente, la storia dell'umanità.[1]

Peter, Elizabeth, Paul e la band (incluso il collaboratore di lunga data di Gabriel, Tony Levin) hanno inoltre suonato le canzoni "Downside Up" e "Father, Son" nel programma Later with Jools Holland della BBC. Queste due performance sono disponibili nel sito ufficiale di Peter Gabriel.
