La raccolta contiene il meglio del pop sofisticato britannico della seconda metà degli anni ottanta, denominato cool per sottolineare l'umore tranquillo che lo caratterizza, spesso contaminato dal jazz, dal soul e anche dalla musica latino-americana.[2]
