Il disco


Iggy Pop e Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal) hanno cominciato a lavorare sul disco nel gennaio 2015. L'album è stato registrato in diverse sessioni a Joshua Tree e a Burbank (California) con l'ausilio di Dean Fertita e di Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys).[2][3]

Post Pop Depression is the seventeenth studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop, released by Caroline International / Loma Vista Recordings on March 18, 2016.[4] Produced by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, the album was recorded in secrecy and features contributions from Queens of the Stone Age keyboardist and guitarist Dean Fertita, and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders.[5][6]

Post Pop Depression — семнадцатый студийный альбом Игги Попа, выпущенный 18 марта 2016 года лейблом Loma Vista[4]. Продюсером записи выступил лидер группы Queens of the Stone Age Джош Хомме, на чьей студии и велась запись. Работа над альбомом велась в условиях секретности и помимо Хомме к записи был также привлечен ещё один участник Queens of the Stone Age Дин Фертита и барабанщик Arctic Monkeys Мэтт Хелдерс[5][6].
