Postcards From a Young Man è il decimo album dei Manic Street Preachers pubblicato nel 2010. Le canzoni sono state scritte da James Dean Bradfield e Sean Moore (musica) e Nicky Wire (testi). L'album ha visto la collaborazione di Ian McCulloch, leader degli Echo & the Bunnymen,di John Cale e di Duff McKagan. In copertina compare una fotografia in bianco e nero dell'attore Tim Roth con in mano una Polaroid.[1] Sono stati pubblicati come singoli (It's Not War) Just the End of Love, Some Kind of Nothingness e Postcards from a Young Man.

September veröffentlicht. Nach dem düsteren und experimentellen Vorgänger Journal for Plague Lovers, dessen Texte ausschließlich auf zurückgelassenen Aufzeichnungen des verschwundenen Bandmitglieds Richey James Edwards beruhten, ist Postcards from a Young Man wieder ein eingängiges Rockalbum, das von Fans und Kritikern oft mit dem Band-Klassiker Everything Must Go aus dem Jahr 1996 verglichen wurde.

Postcards from a Young Man is the tenth studio album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers, released on 20 September 2010. The Manics began recording the album (provisionally titled It's Not War – Just the End of Love) in October 2009 at their Faster Studio in Cardiff and finished in June 2010. The album was intended by the band as "one last shot at mass communication".[1]
