Girato a Londra e diretto da Nick Gordon, il videoclip mostra Brian Molko su un tetto di un edificio sul punto di buttarsi da un momento all'altro, mentre di sotto polizia, pompieri ed altre persone lo osservano, per aiutarlo in caso di emergenza. Un poliziotto raggiunge il tetto, tuttavia è troppo tardi poiché Brian si è già gettato. Con sorpresa di tutti, però, la caduta si arresta e Brian finisce in piedi sulla facciata dell'edificio. Dopodiché, tra lo stupore generale, prosegue la discesa. Steve Hewitt e Stefan Olsdal compaiono nel quadro di persone che vengono arrestate dalla polizia per motivi sconosciuti.

"Pure Morning" is the first single from British alternative rock band Placebo's second album, Without You I'm Nothing (1998). The single was successful in the United States, reaching number 19 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, and it also reached number four on the UK Singles Chart. Worldwide, the song reached the top 50 in Australia, Canada, Iceland, Ireland and New Zealand. In October 2017, the song was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry.

«Pure Morning» (с англ. — «Чистое утро») — первый сингл рок-группы Placebo со второго альбома Without You I’m Nothing. Сингл был выпущен на двух дисках. Первая часть включает в себя радио версию заглавного трека сингла, бисайд, исполненный на французском языке, и инструментальный трек, вторая — альбомную версию «Pure Morning» и две инструментальных композиции. Песня «Pure Morning» появилась случайно, и изначально предполагалось, что она будет бисайдом. В своем интервью журналу db Magazine Стефан сказал[1]:
