Run for Cover è il settimo album di Gary Moore, pubblicato nel 1985 per l'etichetta discografica EMI.

Il disco

L'album vede la partecipazione di alcuni amici di Moore, quali Glenn Hughes, Phil Lynott dei Thin Lizzy, Don Airey, Paul Thompson. Lynott e Moore duettano su "Out in the Fields", canzone che parla della sommossa religiosa nella loro nativa Irlanda. Il brano sarà non solo la più grossa hit dell'album ma anche dell'intera carriera di Moore: raggiunse la 5ª posizione nella classifica inglese. Sarà anche l'ultimo lavoro registrato da Phil Lynott prima della sua tragica morte il 4 gennaio 1986. Altra hit dell'album è il remake di "Empty Rooms", posizioni numero 20 nelle classifiche inglesi.
