Il primo singolo, Dark Road, è stato pubblicato sul suo sito internet il 15 agosto 2007; il 24 settembre 2007 è uscito ufficialmente.
Il secondo singolo Sing, è stato pubblicato in digitale il 1º dicembre 2007 (in contemporanea con la giornata mondiale della lotta contro l'AIDS) ed è uscito come singolo il 3 dicembre 2007. Il Tour
Il 13 settembre Annie Lennox ha annunciato un tour per Songs of Mass Destruction, chiamato Annie Lennox Sings: è il terzo tour della cantante. Durato tutto ottobre e novembre 2007, il tour prevedeva 18 cittù: Londra, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Boulder, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Milano, Washington, Nashville, Atlanta, Miami, New York (due date), Philadelphia, Boston. Le sedi sono state generalmente teatri di medie dimensioni, ad eccezione di New York, in cui una delle date è stata al ristorante Cipriani a Wall Street.
Al seguito di Annie Lennox l'artista emergente Carina Round, che promuoveva il suo terzo album Slow Motion Addict.
