In Take One sono stati reinterpretati i brani dell'album Susanne Sundfør, ad eccezione di Marocco,[2] con degli arrangiamenti acustici più minimali (pianoforte e voce o chitarra e voce).[3] L'operazione è stata fatta per via delle tante richieste, da parte di stampa e fan, di sentire i brani dell'album d'esordio di Susanne nella versione in cui erano stati originariamente composti, ossai senza il supporti di altri musicisti.[1][4]

L'artwork dell'album è un'illustrazione della Kamikaze Media AS basata su una foto della stessa Susanne scattata da Lars K. Lande durante un live.[2]

Take One is a live album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør, released on 10 March 2008 through Your Favorite Music.[1] The album consists of new, acoustic recordings of the tracks from Sundfør's self-titled debut album, with only "Morocco" being taken out and replaced with an interlude.[2] The release of the album comes upon the request of many who have wanted to hear the songs as they were originally composed and performed at the beginning of Sundfør's career.[3][1] Unlike the debut album in which she was supported by her band, Sundfør is the only musician on the album, which consists solely of her voice and piano or guitar.[1][3]
