È stata estratta come singolo nell'estate del 2000, ed era già nella colonna sonora di Mission: Impossible 2. Esistono due versioni del CD singolo, "Take A Look Around: Part 1" e "Take A Look Around: Part 2", che differiscono per tracce e colore della copertina (la prima è argentata, la seconda dorata).

Video musicale


Il video mostra il gruppo che lavora sotto copertura in un locale, per sottrarre un disco ad alcuni agenti segreti. Mentre stanno per portare a termine la missione ricevono l'ordine di fermarsi, e gli agenti se ne vanno. I Bizkit vengono poi cacciati dal locale, e il telefono prima usato da Fred Durst esplode. Si vede anche il gruppo che esegue la canzone di fronte al locale.

Take a Look Around (englisch für „Sieh dich um“) ist ein Lied der US-amerikanischen Nu-Metal-Band Limp Bizkit. Der Song ist die erste Singleauskopplung ihres dritten Studioalbums Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water und wurde am 6. Juni 2000 veröffentlicht. Zudem ist er auf dem Soundtrack zum Film Mission: Impossible II enthalten.

"Take a Look Around" is a song by American rap rock band Limp Bizkit. It is the first single and tenth track on their third album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, and was released on July 3, 2000. The main riff of the song is derived from the original Mission: Impossible theme composed by Lalo Schifrin, however it deviates in its meter which is common time, except the bridge, which uses Schifrin's original 54 time signature.[original research?] It appears on the soundtrack to the 2000 film Mission: Impossible 2. In the United Kingdom, "Take a Look Around" was Limp Bizkit's first single release.[2]
