Ha debuttato alla posizione 131 nella classifica Billboard 200 e al secondo posto nella US Heatseeker Albums charts.

The Finer Things è stato inserito al 14º posto nella classifica dei "50 album migliori del 2013" di Rock Sound.[5] Rock Sound lo considera inoltre uno dei migliori album del decennio.[5] È stato inserito alla posizione 43 nella lista dei "51 album pop punk più essenziali di tutti i tempi" di Rock Sound[6] e al 50º posto nei "50 album pop-punk migliori di sempre" di Kerrang![7].
