Il brano, che appare come prima traccia dell'album Dark Adrenaline, riprende il sound più cupo di album come Karmacode; il testo descrive i sintomi da astinenza da sostanze stupefacenti. Il disegno stilizzato nella copertina è stato realizzato dal bassista del gruppo Marco Coti Zelati e sottolinea quanto sia personale la canzone per il gruppo.[3] Da Coti Zelati è stata creata anche la musica.

The song was written by Lacuna Coil, while production of the song was handled by Don Gilmore. The song was given its first play on Sirius XM on September 19, 2011,[1] and was released as the first single from the album on 17 October 2011, in Europe and on October 18, 2011, in the United States.
