Biografia
I tre membri fondatori del gruppo sono Alexander Bard, Jean-Pierre Barda e Camilla Henemark. La band ha avuto successo nel 1991 col singolo Crucified, tratto dall'album Massive Luxury Overdose.[1][2][3]
Tra il 1991 e il 1995 il gruppo ha subito alcune modifiche nella formazione.[4] Nel 1996 il gruppo si è sciolto e Bard ha deciso di formare i Vacuum.
Durante il nuovo millennio, il gruppo si è riunito occasionalmente per concerti-evento o per promuovere progetti discografici. Nel 2013 hanno partecipato al Melodifestivalen.[5][6]

Army of Lovers is a Swedish dance-pop group which formed in 1987 and had a number of hits in Europe throughout the 1990s. Some of their biggest successes include the song "Crucified", which was a big hit in Europe, charting 31 weeks in the Eurochart and peaking at number 14 in 1992. Army of Lovers est un groupe de pop suédois fondé en 1987. La formation au style exubérant avec des costumes créés par Camilla Thulin, est principalement connue pour son titre Crucified en 1991. Certains des clips du groupe furent bannis de MTV et leurs chansons furent à l'origine de controverses relatives aux thèmes religieux et sexuels abordés.
