Axwell Λ Ingrosso (si pronuncia Axwell and Ingrosso) è stato un duo musicale svedese composto da Axwell e Sebastian Ingrosso, già membri degli Swedish House Mafia insieme a Steve Angello.[1] Il gruppo ha debuttato al Governors Ball Music Festival nel giugno del 2014, a New York[2] e ha annunciato il proprio scioglimento il 21 agosto 2018.

Storia
Axwell e Sebastian Ingrosso decisero di formare il duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso ufficialmente nel 2014. A giugno dello stesso anno, iniziano a diffondere nella città di New York alcuni indizi su uno dei loro nuovi singoli.[3][4] La manager degli Swedish House Mafia iniziò, infatti, a pubblicare alcune immagini su Instagram.[4]
Il debutto è avvenuto l'8 giugno 2014 al Governors Ball Music Festival di New York[2] con il brano We Come We Rave We Love, rilasciato sotto il nome di Axwell Λ Ingrosso e trasmesso per la prima volta in radio durante il programma di Zane Lowe di BBC Radio 1.[1] La loro performance è entrata, secondo Billboard, nella 15 Hot Governors Ball Moments nonché nella Top 10 Best Performances di Governors Ball.[5]
Il 26 novembre 2014 hanno pubblicato il loro nuovo singolo Something New.
Il 6 febbraio 2015, con la pubblicazione del nuovo sito internet, vennero pubblicati tre nuovi video trailer ufficiali delle canzoni Something New, Can't Hold Us Down e On My Way. Quattro giorni dopo, il duo svedese ha pubblicato il video completo di Something New.
Il 13 febbraio 2015 hanno pubblicato l'EP X4, composto da quattro canzoni: We Come We Rave We Love, Something New, Can't Hold Us Down e Together.
Il 12 marzo 2015 il duo ha prodotto un altro singolo, On My Way, con la collaborazione di Salem Al Fakir[6] e probabilmente anche di Tim Bergling (Avicii), mentre il giorno seguente è uscito il video musicale di Can't Hold Us Down.[7]
Il 12 giugno 2015 è uscito il singolo, Sun Is Shining, con la collaborazione di Salem Al Fakir e Vincent Pontare, pezzo già apprezzato grazie alla campagna pubblicitaria con H&M.
Il 6 novembre 2015 il duo ha pubblicato il singolo This Time con la collaborazione del rapper statunitense Pusha T.
Il 31 maggio 2016 hanno pubblicato Thinking About You, con la collaborazione del cantante inglese Richard Archer e della cantante Chloe Leone.
L'8 marzo 2017 hanno pubblicato, I Love You, in collaborazione con il rapper statunitense Kid Ink.
Nel maggio 2017 hanno pubblicato Renegade, in collaborazione con Salem Al Fakir, il quale ha preceduto il loro EP More than You Know, composto da quattro canzoni: More than You Know, la già citata Renegade, How Do You Feel Right Now e Dawn.
L'8 dicembre 2017, con la collaborazione del cantante canadese Trevor Guthrie, hanno pubblicato il singolo, Dreamer.
Il 28 giugno 2018 il duo ha pubblicato, sia sul proprio canale YouTube che su Spotify, il brano Dancing Alone in collaborazione con il cantante inglese RØMANS.
Il 21 agosto 2018 annunciano ufficialmente tramite DJ Mag l'abbandono del progetto Axwell Λ Ingrosso per dedicarsi unicamente agli Swedish House Mafia.
