Storia del gruppo


Il trio, orinario di Sydney,[2] si è fatto conoscere verso la fine del 2005, dopo essere stato selezionato come opening act del concerto di 50 Cent a Brisbane, in occasione del suo Get Rich or Die Tryin' Tour.[3]

Il secondo disco Day of the Dog, uscito nel 2006, è divenuto il loro primo ingresso nella ARIA Albums Chart.[4] Hanno visto risultati maggiori con i dischi seguenti Flying Colours, vincitore di un ARIA Music Award,[5] e Running on Air, entrambi platino e classificatisi rispettivamente al 10º posto e in vetta alla graduatoria australiana.[6][7][8][9]

Nel 2012 hanno intrapreso la loro prima tournée nell'America del Nord, per poi dare al via a un tour di 15 tappe in Australia con il fine di trainare il progetto Circus in the Sky;[10] anch'esso numero uno in Australia,[11] dove è platino.[12]

Il singolo Moments, in collaborazione con Gavin James, ha valso al trio il loro miglior posizionamento nella hit parade dei singoli, fermandosi in 25ª posizione e conseguendo il triplo platino,[13][14] nonché un ARIA Music Award nella categoria di miglior video.[15]

Bliss n Eso (formerly known as Bliss n' Esoterikizm[1]) are an Australian hip hop trio based in Sydney, New South Wales. They are currently signed to Melbourne record label Illusive Sounds, and are managed and booked by label co-founders Adam Jankie and Matt Gudinski. Bliss n Eso have released six studio albums which include three number 1 debuts on the ARIA Charts. They have also won two ARIA Awards for Best Urban Release for their 2008 album Flying Colours and for Best Music Video for their 2017 single "Moments". Eso, under his alias Esoterik, released an album entitled "My Astral Plane" in May 2018.
