Making the Band 4


Nel 2007, il produttore e rapper "Sean "Diddy" Combs" celebra il suo ritorno in TV con Making the Band 4, in compagnia del talent scout Michael Bivins Bryan-Michael Cox, e Ankh Ra (il vocal coach)[1] e i coreografi Laurie Ann Gibson e Jamal.[2]

La prima stagione comincia il 18 febbraio 2007 e la band prende vita nel successivo 26 agosto. Il gruppo dei Day 26 è formato da Robert Curry, Willie Taylor, Brian Andrews, Michael McCluney e Qwanell Mosley. Donnie Klang eliminato soltanto durante la finale, viene comunque messo sotto contratto dalla Bad Boy, perché Diddy lo preferisce come solista.

Day26 (alternative Schreibweise Day 26) ist eine amerikanische Contemporary-R&B-Band. Sie entstand im Sommer 2007 im Rahmen der Castingshow Making the Band, die im Programm des Musiksenders MTV ausgestrahlt wurde. Der Name der Band bezieht sich auf den 26. August 2007, das Datum der Ausstrahlung der letzten Episode der Show. Das Quintett wird von dem Rapper Sean Combs alias P.Diddy produziert. Nach einer kommerziell erfolgreichen Phase löste sich die Band 2012 auf und formierte sich 2014 neu.

Day26 is an American male R&B music group formed in August 2007 by Sean "Diddy" Combs in a handpicked selection at the end of MTV's Making the Band 4. The group consists of Robert Curry, Brian Angel, Willie Taylor, Qwanell Mosley and Michael McCluney. The moniker is a tribute to the day when Angel, McCluney, Mosely, Curry, and Taylor went from unknowns to stars. The group released their first album, Day26, on March 25, 2008, one week after their then labelmates and Making the Band 3 winners Danity Kane released Welcome to the Dollhouse. The album's first single, "Got Me Going", was released on the finale of Making the Band 4. The album went on to debut at number one on the billboard charts. Subsequent seasons of Making the Band 4 featured the group on tour and making their second album Forever in a Day which also topped the Billboard charts.
